I am inspired by a new non-profit organization called One Dollar Nation (www.OneDollarNation.org) that asks for a donation of only One Dollar per month-yes just a dollar. I really like the fact that subscribers get to suggest projects and vote on which ones will be taken on. The group is just getting started but so far with about 75 members they have already completed their first project-purchasing a cow from Heifer International I agree that no effort is too small to have a positive impact. Perhaps the only people we can influence are those in our direct sphere of influence...our children, and demonstrating being thankful for the things we have as well as the things we DON'T have makes a powerful impact on the next generation. Plus, this bend towards the good things affects even strangers (hence the "smile"). Whatever we focus on grows, so let's stimulate growth in the positive--be grateful!
